Images in email campaigns
I've noticed that when I insert an image in the email campaign editor it creates a local link to the image i.e. dbfile.axd?name=image.jpg. This link does not work when the recipient reads the email. The workaround I'm using is to manually add the full url to the image i.e. http://www.mysite.com/files/dsc/image.jpg.
Am I using the editor incorrectly or is this a problem with the email campaign feature?
Thanks,

Linden

Re: Images in email campaigns
Try using the relative url "/dbfile.axd?name=image.jpg" to see if it works. We will investigating this issue.

Re: Images in email campaigns
Fix the url http://dbfile.axd/?name=abc.gif . It should be http://www.yourdomain.com/dbfile.axd?name=abc.gif.

Re: Images in email campaigns
Thanks.

But when i upload it, i need the url to be <a target="_blank" href="http://www.yourdomain.com/dbfile.axd?name=abc.gif">http://www.yourdomain.com/<wbr></wbr>dbfile.axd?name=abc.gif.

where can i chnage ti to be <a target="_blank" href="http://www.yourdomain.com/dbfile.axd?name=abc.gif">http://www.yourdomain.com/<wbr></wbr>dbfile.axd?name=abc.gif. instead of <span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 0);"><a target="_blank" href="http://dbfile.axd/">http://dbfile.axd</span>/?name=
<wbr></wbr>abc.gif .

Open email compaign for edit. And you can switch it to source mode where you can edit the raw html.

Re: Images in email campaigns
Thanks!.

But other than editing the source code, isn't there another way of doing it directly, since, each time the customer adds an image he has to edit the url.  And it will also be risky to change the source code in html editor by  a person who don't know that.
Is there a place where i can make the url to be absolute.

Thanks!

Re: Images in email campaigns
Yes. But it will only add a hyperlink and not as an image. I want to upload an image with correct url. Hope the issue is clear. Please clarify this.

Thanks a lot
