I Would also like some more information on your hosting services.  What is included in the $50/month price? amount of memory, processor speed, OS, etc and  the reliability of the service.
 
it also said on the products page that sites using you hosting service see a 1sec load time.  is that the on demand service or the Virtual Dedicated?
 
and under the full features of the product it says 'Web space is included in your store plan' what does this mean?

You can see the spec from Virtual Dedicate Server. 1 sec load time and web space are talking about on-demand service. For virtual dedicated server you should have 1 sec load time on the average home as well.

Yes, we can install either DotShoppingCart Suite or open source edition for you without addtional charge.

i also saw somewhere something about a transaction fee of .5% is this true?

There is no such transaction fee or other sort of hidden charge. In the checkout form just verify everything is what you expect.

I think you are asking for the on-demand service right? If so, the answer is no. Features are packaged into 3 editions. They cannot be customized.
