Editing an Order as Admin
If ADMIN wants to review and possibly edit an existing order, is that order edited in the same 'role' as the user who created it?

It should be, because otherwise the discount group values will not be correct.

Can you advise please?

It's not doing that currently. Please feel free to post it to the suggestion and feedback forum.

Well, in Users there is a 'Switch' button. What does that do if you use it? Does it act as if you are then that user?
UPDATE: I tried it and it acts as if you have logged in but of course you are then not in admin mode.

Yes, you basically ghost that user. That feature allows you to place an order on behave. You cannot use it to update the order.
