Install Manual for dummy?

I been using Joomla and Virtuemart for couple years and familiar with PHP CMS installation, and this is my first experience with ASP which I have no clue about (it doesnt mean that I know anything about PHP :) ).

I am planning to install DotShoppingCart in Godaddy hosting, since I have some free credit there to experiment.   Is there easier version of installation manual for DotShoppingCart?

Re: Install Manual for dummy?

I read the quick start install guide.  And by looking at some exe files, i assume that is to install DotShoppingCart on my own computer as server.  But my goal is to install in shared server such as Godaddy.com since I have some free credits from them, and I believe I cannot excute exe files on their server.

Is there another install manual for such an enviornment?

I just skimed through the Godaddy Windows shared hosting plan. It doesn't seem to give you SQL server 2005. Can you confirm that? DotShoppingCart requires SQL server 2005. So you might want to consider Godaddy Virtual Dedicated Server.

I use www.alendee.com share hosting and they have ms sql 2005 and they resell godaddy services, so godaddy should also offer sql2005 on their shared hosting.
