Mutliple Language Support?

I'm looking for a webshop for a swiss bookstore. Can DotShoppingcart adapt to other languages (e.g. Spanish and German) ? Is this built in, or do I need to modify the code?

Can I have a product in mutliple languages?

Hi,

I am interested in same feature. I want to be able to provide a custom localisation for the store side (admin may remain in EN) and the user to be able to switch back to English if he wants to.

The multi-language support is planned for the next version. You can check our roadmap. So for the current version you have to change the code.

we are also interested in the new version of DotShoppingCart (Version 3.0).
Especially we would need the multilanguage-support.
 
Is there any chance to get a preview of the new version?
We are also considering to buy the current version if we get a preview of the new version or a beta or something like that?
 
How is the current progess of the new community/comercial version??
 
Are there any information available if it will be easy to migrate from the current version to the new version?? (db-structure ...)

We currently are not in the stage of releasing the V3 beta yet. The plan is still releasing it by the end of the year. We will have beta around sometime in Nov. 
 
We just released the DotShoppingCart Suite V2.5. There is no plan to rev the open source edition yet.
 
When the new version is released, we will provide the migration SQL script to upgrade the old DB to the new version.
