I have the dotShoppingCart installed on my web server and the database on another server. When I login to the Admin site all seems well. I go to enter my license key in the box and the popup comes up and give me the correct server domain but it gives me the IP address of 192.168.x.x. This is the internal IP address and I am sure I want to have the external IP address of that server registered with you. When I click Continue it gives me a message of <span class="error" id="ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_lblMessage">Network error. Please retry it later. </span>What should I do next.

Is your webserver connecting to internet? If so, try to log in to your site from the public internet connection.

Yes I am no longer even in my office. I can get to the admin area from the internet and all that. When I enter the License Key that was provided by you it asks me if the server name and IP address is correct. The server name is correct however the IP Address still says 192.168.x.x and gets a network error message and says try again later. Thank you for the help you gave me on this.

What your site url? Can I take a look?

I think it's probably due to your network setup e.g. your web server is in DMZ such that web application cannot get the external IP address. But it's fine since the domain is the only factor here. I have registered an account "luke", would you please give me the access to your store admin?

OK Luke, I have changed the admin back to its original state

Still cannot go to store admin. Could you please add user "luke" to the administrator role?

I have added it as an administrator
