Re: Image Slide Box
I think your customerized CSS doesn't have the required CSS. It's general bad idea to replace the bulit-in css with your own since you end up losing all the feaures that are new built-in css provides.

Re: Image Slide Box
I believe you checked "Replace the predefined base theme template?" in Admin > Site > Templates -> Default.css. It means whatever you defined in the textbox will be used for your site. We upgraded the bulit-in predefined default.css to have the css required for the new features like Slide box. But you won't have those in your customized css. That's why you see the slidebox doesn't work right. If you uncheck the box, Default.css will have the required css for slidebox and it will work. Generally we don't recommend to check "Replace the predefined base theme template?" box.

Re: Image Slide Box
In an earlier post we were working on why the CSS that was being placed at the bottom of the default.css template was not overwriting an existing CSS.  You had me copy everything and hit replace the predefined template.

is what i got out of that. is there something else i should do?

Re: Image Slide Box
Yes, basically you got the snapshot of what the default.css was at that time. We are adding more to Default.css to support new features but your customized css won't have these. You have two options. 1) Uncheck "Replace the predefined base theme template?". 2) Uncheck "Replace the predefined base theme template?" and then find out the new css to support new features. Copy it over to your customize css and check "Replace the predefined base theme template?" again. If you choose to do the second, you might have to do this from time to time to merge the new css that is supporting new features.

Re: Image Slide Box
Looks like you need to clean up Default.skin when you uncheck that box. Please take a look again.

Re: Image Slide Box
Your local browser is caching CSS files. Use "Crtl -F5" to refresh those.
