Intro Home Page
Hey Luke,

I want to make an intro page to my website which will be the first page visitors come to.  I want to keep it simple with a few images and very limited text.  I will have hyperlinks on that page which will all lead to my current site.  Is there any way to easily set up an intro page that is independent of the template and not affected by changes to the template?  Once vistors make that first click, they will only be nevigation DSC.

Thanks,
Jeff

Re: Intro Home Page
 Hi,

You can make a  HTML (simple or animated with flash) page and call it home and put in on Web folder. Your starting URL address can always be redirected to :

www.yourstore.com\home.htm

Read online help to create a new page. You can disable the master content blocks when turn on the page editor for that page. Change your ads link to use that page.

Re: Intro Home Page
Hi Luke,

Thanks for the info.  It doesnt sound too difficult to accomplish.  However, I did have one question about something in your second reply.  You mentioned changing the "ads link".  What is the ads link and if I create a new page using the second method you describe, do I have to name it a certain name?

Thanks!

Re: Intro Home Page
If you buy ads from Google or any others and wish your ads clickers to see the new page instead of home page, you can change the ads link to use the new page instead.

You can use any name you want.
