Working with Submenus

Hello.  We are in the process of configuring our store and everything seems to be working as expected except the tabbed menu bar.  It works fine with no submenus, but when we try to add submenus, the tabs move on the web page if we choose the submenus option, and if we don't use this option, the links show on the far right end of the menu bar regardless of which tab the submenus are added.

Is this a known issue?  Is there a workaround that will allow us to use submenus on the menu bar?  Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Which theme are you using? I guess there are missing styles in the default.css file. Try to switch to theme "TechTab" and see if it helps.

Re: Working with Submenus
We are using the following settings for the Menu Style section:  Menu CSS Class: mainmenu; Menu Item CSS Class: tab; Sub Menu CSS Class: submenu.  We accidentally deleted the main menu that appears by default and had to recreate it.   We were not sure of the CSS classes so the current settings were reconstructed from the DSC knowlege base and looking at the default.css file.   Every time we enable the "Enable dropdown sub menus" checkbox we get this erratic behavior.   Thanks for any assistance.

Also, we tried "techtab" but the results were the same.

Once you switch to "techtab" theme try "Ctrl -F5" in the browser to force fresh all the css files in the browser cache. If you are still having the problem you can post a public URL and I will take a look at it.
