Is there way to HIDE some inactive products or one category?

Is there way to HIDE some inactive products or one category?

I don't want to display all the products in the database on the webiste, I'd like to know is there way to HIDE(not display) some inactive products or category? it seems  no such function when input the data,  does anyone has a suggestion how to do it? Thanks.

The inactive marking is still under way to be implemented.

To work around it, change the quantity of the product to 0 and it should hide automatically.
