Personal e-comm License
Thank you for such an wonderful app.

I have downloaded the opensource version and I am okay with all the feature it offers.
I have some questions about license (In Layman's lang)

1. Can I use the download application as-is on some Cheap hosting sites? e.g. GoDaddy.com
2. Do I need to purchase a license to use the open source version?
3. Do I absolutely have to have a Vitual Dedicated Server plan, can't I use basic hosting plan and install the DB through their Query Analayzer interface. Also Can't I just copy the working version of the code to third party hosting via FTP?
4. This is for my personal e-commerce site. If I go live do I need to buy anything?

Re: Personal e-comm License
1) Yes, you could it Godaddy just fine although the virtual deciated hosting plan is recommended.
2) No, you don't need to pay for the open source license as long as you comply with the DotShoppingCart Public License.
3) Yes, you can try the shared hosting plan. You probably have to disable credit card encyption as well. This is the decision on your hands, risk vesus cost.
4) No, anyone can use the open source edtion as long as he comply with DotShoppingCart Public License
