How does Email campaign works

Does Email campaign have its own mail Server? Or we need to have a a third party mail server.

No, mail server does belong to DSC. You will need a seperate mail server.

It says :
Click "Send" or "Send To Mailing List" button on the right to send email to the targeted list.
 
does not mention that it needs a mail server.
 
Does the send button actually sends thru the same SMTP server that send orders.

Yes, it uses the same smtp server defined in DotShoppingCart.Commercial.OrderPipelineService.exe.config .

 What SMPT server you have used or suggesting.

Any smpt server should work. Your ISP SMTP, gmail SMTP or SMTP in Windows server.
