The reason it does not act according to spec is that it has bugs.These are the summary bugs of Bulk Import V4, in one Batch file.

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you want us to further investigate this issue, please provide

1) one line of product import file

2) describe what's not working for that product

 

We need simple reproduce steps. It's better than a thousand words.

 

 

 

 

Try putting one line product in the bulk import file and then run it one by one and verify the result. Stop the first one that you see a problem. And then provide this line of product . You got to help us to understand your issue. We cannot fix what we don't know.

It is impossible to test one line by one line, As we already know the problem

 

I did tested more than 10 times. And I posted a Summary Report. The problem of Bulk Import in V4 is:

 

It Can not create the same product (SKU) under another Category 

It can not create Level2 ( 3rd level ) Subcategories

It creates root Categories for some level1 Categories 

 

 

This report with the sample data that creates the errors is the best way you can debug.  

 

 

You can do two simple tests:

 

1- Just try to have a product (SKU ) under two or more Differenct categories and see how it works:3 lines of data

2- Try to have a 3 level category product : 2 line of data.

I did another test and this time I did the V3.1 import file. That is no duplicate  Skus for categories.

 

- No Level 3 Category is created.

- Level 1 category are created as Level 0

- Orderpipeline Service crashes.

 

It is obvious bugs and deffects in V4 Bulk Import.
