Search terms
One suggestion might be to add an area where we can follow what people are searching on the site.

maybe have it keep track of searches for a period of time that way we can track without looking at each user and what they are doing.

thanks

Re: Search terms
You can set up GA (Google Analytics) to do that for you. We will see if we can integate this out of the box.

Re: Search terms
Take a look at GA online help. And use the following settings.

Re: Search terms
Is there a way once we find what people are searching to add keywords to a product that are searchable by the site?

Re: Search terms
Yes, you can add keywords to product name, short description and descriptor etc so that product will display once the keyword is hit.

Re: Search terms
I am talking about a place where the customer doesn't necessarily have to see the term.  Like if we get a lot of hits for misspellings we can add that mispelled word and it would come up in a search result.

also is the fix being worked on for including dashes in the search terms. When they search a SKU number with dashes it shows up with no results

Thanks

Re: Search terms
Dash is just a configuration setting. I will enable it for you. I will take a look at how you can specify the mispelled words.

Re: Search terms
Dash should be enabled in the site search now. You can add product custom field e.g. "Mispelled keywords" (see product custom fields). And then add keywords in the product edit page. Let me know how it works.
