Yes. You can sell things such as PDF's, audio files, software applications, and more. DotShoppingcart can also generate a registration code on the fly which could be used to unlock the electronic products.

We have been searching for additional information on how to generate registration codes with Dot Shopping Cart and also any functionality for automatically distributing these registration codes to purchasers. Can you provide links or details of what is supported and how to set it up? Thank you.

Digital goods are supported in DotShoppingCart Suite. The general idea is very simple. Just like gift card generator a random number or GUID is created upon the successful checkout. Then you will need to update your digital good (e.g. your software) to check the code is correct. There are many strategies to validate code. Please move this to our forums to continue the discussion.
